Use of this Website is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. By submitting an EOI, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and are legally authorized to do so.

 

3. Definitions

3.1 Expression of Interest
An Expression of Interest ("EOI") is a non-binding indication by a user that they would like to acquire a specific domain name listed on the Website. An EOI:

• Does not constitute a binding agreement or contract.

• Does not guarantee domain availability or assignment.

• Is purely informational and dependent on multiple third-party decisions.

3.2 Service Names
.MUSIC Service Names are a subclass of Generic Names under the .MUSIC Top-Level Domain (MTLD). These names are exempt from certain verification and documentation requirements, including Registrant Identity Verification, Music Profile submission, and Nexus Attestation. The Registry policies on Service Names is located at https://www.registry.music/policies/anti-abuse-and-legitimate-use-policy subsection 5.

 

4. Non-Binding Nature of EOIs

4.1 Informational Only
All EOIs submitted through the Website are non-binding. Submission of an EOI:

• Does not guarantee domain acquisition.

• Does not create any legal obligation on MY.music or any third party.

4.2 Registry Discretion
All domain names are ultimately subject to the approval and allocation decisions of the .MUSIC domain Registry. The Registry may reject, cancel, or ignore any EOI at its sole discretion, even after an EOI has been acknowledged by email.

 

5. Email-Based Submissions and Confirmation

5.1 No Account Required
EOIs are submitted solely through the Website and linked to the email address provided by the user. No user accounts are created or maintained.

5.2 Confirmation Requirement
An EOI is not considered received or valid unless and until the user receives a confirmation email from auction.music. The mere act of submission does not validate an EOI.

5.3 No Guarantee of Email Delivery
MY.music is not responsible for:

• Ensuring the delivery or receipt of confirmation emails.

• Technical or user-side issues such as spam filtering or inbox misconfiguration.

• Resending undelivered messages.

 

6. Registrar of Choice Requirement
Each EOI must include a valid registrar of choice. If a registrar is not provided, the EOI will be considered invalid.

Should the Registry choose to proceed with the domain allocation, all payment, registration, and administrative processes will be handled entirely through the user's chosen registrar. MY.music does not participate in the transaction or support processes of third-party registrars.

 

7. Auctions

7.1 Auction Time: All auction activity on the platform operates according to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

7.2 Auction Day: Each Auction Day begins at 00:00:00 UTC and concludes at 23:59:59 UTC on the same calendar date.

7.3 Final EOI for Auction Day: On the final Auction Day of a given auction, all EOIs must be fully processed and the associated confirmation email must be issued by 23:59:59 UTC. Any EOI not confirmed by this deadline shall be deemed invalid.

7.4 One EOI per Day per Requester: A requester may submit only one EOI per auction during any given Auction Day, defined as the period from 00:00:01 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC. Only the first confirmed EOI for that Auction Day will be considered valid; all additional EOIs submitted by the same requester for the same auction on that day are invalid.

7.5 EOI High of Previous Day: At the start of each Auction Day, the highest confirmed EOI from the preceding day or days may be published on auction.music to assist requesters in deciding whether to submit a higher EOI.

7.6 No Guarantees: MY.music makes no guarantees that the highest confirmed EOI from the prior day will be processed or displayed in a timely or consistent manner.

7.7 Final Auction Day: On the final Auction Day, if the highest confirmed EOI from the previous day is unavailable, requesters agree to proceed based solely on the information available and accept full responsibility for submitting their best EOI under those circumstances.

 

8. Responsibility for Email Use
Users are solely responsible for the integrity and security of the email address used to submit EOIs. MY.music reserves the right to:

• Cancel any or all EOIs submitted from an email suspected of fraud, abuse, automation, or attempts to game the system.

• Block further EOIs from such addresses without notice or liability.

 

9. External Auction Platforms

9.1 Domain Listings on Partner Sites
Certain domain names listed on the Website may be made available through external auction platforms operated by third-party providers. In such cases:

• auction.music provides a link to the external site for your convenience only.

• EOIs for those domains must be submitted directly to the external provider.

9.2 Disclaimer of Affiliation
MY.music is not affiliated with, responsible for, or a party to any transactions, terms, listings, or actions taken by external auction platforms. By visiting or interacting with a third-party auction provider, you acknowledge that:

• You must review and agree to their separate terms and conditions,

• You release MY.music from any liability arising from your use of external services.

 

10. Agreement to Third-Party Policies
By submitting an EOI, you also agree to comply with:

• The registration policies of your selected registrar, and

• The official policies of the .MUSIC Registry, including any eligibility or content requirements.

• Non-compliance may lead to EOI rejection, cancellation, or loss of eligibility.

 

11. Fees and Refunds
MY.music does not:

• Charge any fees for submitting EOIs,

• Collect payments through this Website,

• Provide refunds under any circumstances.

All monetary transactions are conducted directly between users and their chosen registrar or third-party auction provider.

 

12. No Guarantees or Warranties
This Website and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding:

• The availability of domain names.

• The success of any EOI.

• Communication delivery or technical reliability.

• Actions of the .MUSIC Registry, registrars, or external auction platforms.

 

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MY.music shall not be liable for:

• Missed or failed opportunities to acquire domain names.

• Technical failures, including undelivered emails.

• The outcomes or activities of third-party registrars or auction services.

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

14. Termination and Access Restrictions
We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or limit EOIs, or restrict access to the Website at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

• Suspected misuse or abuse of the Website.

• Submissions associated with automated bots or fraudulent behavior.

• Violations of these Terms.

 

15. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, logos, trademarks, and software on this Website are the property of MY.music or its licensors. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

 

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within the State of Delaware.
